Error “ORA-14400” is thrown if TIBCO BusinessWorks™ ProcessMonitor (BWPM) setup has a partitioned Oracle database, where partition for table NJAMS_T_MONITOR_MAIN does not exist for the specific time frame. This error is resolved after the restart of the data management job.

How to restart Data Management Job in TIBCO BusinessWorks™ ProcessMonitor when facing error “ORA-14400” error?
Resolution
Restart “data management job" means restart the following jobs from JOB controller under administration -> system management -> job control
1. NJAMS_JOB_DATA_MANAGEMENT
2. NJAMS_JOB_PROC_ACTIVITY_STATISTICS
3. NJAMS_JOB_TRACK_TEMPLATES_UPDATE_LAST_REF
4. NJAMS_JOB_UPDATE_DATA_PROVIDER_STATISTICS
5. NJAMS_JOB_CHECK_TRACE_SETTINGS
6. NJAMS_JOB_LAST_ACTIVITY_INFO_MANAGER_UPDATE

The following instruction ONLY works with v3.0 since v2.0 has the value hard-coded and is not changeable.
If the issue still persists then execute "NJAMS_JOB_DATA_MANAGEMENT" by the following steps. This job is responsible for deleting expired data and dropping table partitions, as well as creating new partitions for partitioned tables.

1). Go to "administration -> system management -> job control"
(See the attached Filename: JOB_Controller.jpg).
After restarting the JOB controller the following jobs will execute according to the schedule (Next Run Date). Most jobs must be enabled (run status must be “ON”).
1. NJAMS_JOB_DATA_MANAGEMENT
2. NJAMS_JOB_PROC_ACTIVITY_STATISTICS
3. NJAMS_JOB_TRACK_TEMPLATES_UPDATE_LAST_REF
4. NJAMS_JOB_UPDATE_DATA_PROVIDER_STATISTICS
5. NJAMS_JOB_CHECK_TRACE_SETTINGS
6. NJAMS_JOB_LAST_ACTIVITY_INFO_MANAGER_UPDATE

2). Edit "NJAMS_JOB_DATA_MANAGEMENT"
3). Change "Starts at" to a future time (5 mins after your current time).
4). Wait for the job "NJAMS_JOB_DATA_MANAGEMENT" to start.
5). Wait until the the job "NJAMS_JOB_DATA_MANAGEMENT" ends. This may take a few minutes depending on the data that needs to be processed.
6). Check the log file that the error is not repeated.
7). Change the "Starts at" of "NJAMS_JOB_DATA_MANAGEMENT" to its original value.
