This article addresses the question: Is it possible to disable or bypass the apikey authentication temporarily in Gateway. For example, before live in production, is there a way to call/test backend APIs without apikey authentication?
Issue/Introduction
Is it possible to disable or bypass APIKey authentication TIBCO API Exchange Gateway(APIX-G)?
Resolution
There is no way to temporarily disable apikey authentication. It is best to create a test Organization and test Application within the Portal and then test the API invocation with the APIKey. Testing without the APIKey provisioned from the Portal is strongly discouraged if the API is supposed to be used with APIKey in the production.
