Resolution:
BusinessConnect Remote does not support the use of a proxy server at the current time. BC Remote itself is a proxy server that the BC Remote client connects to. The BC Remote Server communicates directly with the BC Server over HTTP using the AS2 protocol which allows encryption. These features may meet your trading partner's requirement for having their firewall open a port to allow BC Remote communication.
