Description

Description:

TIBCO BusinessWorks ProcessMonitor (BWPM) allows to integrate LDAP with BWPM, so LDAP users can also access BWPM Server. If you have configured BWPM with LDAP settings and later if you don't want to use LDAP with BWPM, then you have to modify LDAP settings to remove LDAP user and roles. Simply removing LDAP settings from BWPM will not remove roles and users of LDAP. Also, there is need of deleting NJAMS_LDAP_SYNCHRONISATION_JOB and also to set LDAP Query in such a way so it will fetch 0 users and 0 roles so BWPM will remove all LDAP Users and roles of LDAP.

Resolution

As on Synchronization  TIBCO BusinessWorks ProcessMonitor (BWPM) fetches users and roles based on a query specified in configuration. If you set LDAP Query in such a way it will fetch 0 users and 0 roles during synchronization BWPM will remove all LDAP Users and roles of LDAP. Also you have to delete job NJAMS_LDAP_SYNCHRONISATION from job controller to avoid unnecessary user sync performed by this job. In the future, if you want to use LDAP again then you have to set LDAP Query appropriately and create job NJAMS_LDAP_SYNCHRONISATION.
