Description:
TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) JOB executed successfully in BW engine but BWPM UI shows that Job in Error state with an Error Event on particular activity in the Event tab (BWPM UI).
Symptoms:
Log messages shows in Error state even if BW job executes successfully.
Cause:
An Extract configuration is set to "Error" on activity on which in Error event is thrown under the Event tab.

Cause:
An Extract configuration is set to "Error" on activity on which in Error event is thrown under the Event tab.
Issue/Introduction
Log Message on TIBCO BusinessWorks™ ProcessMonitor (BWPM) UI shows in Error state even JOB is executed successfully.
Resolution
Check if there is an Error Event set in the Extract configuration on the activity highlighted in the Event tab. Make sure the error event added is as per a business requirement and not set accidentally.
Refer to the attached document (Filename: ErrorStateJob.docx) showing the setting in the Extract configuration. This document also shows setting/adding Error/Warning/Info/Success event on JOB using Rule and based on condition evaluated the Log messages with show in that state in BWPM UI.
Any extract configuration done in the BWPM UI is reflected on the client side in the file "<app-name>_njams_config.xml" at location (<tra-domain>/application/<app-name>/). See the attached (Filename: ems_undeliveredq_monitor_njams_config.xml).
