Resolution
Inside the patch grid library, the following file should be modified:
product_hf-amx330-prod_3.3.0_HF-007_FeatureConfig.xml (for HF-7).
The following lines should be commented out or removed from these files.

Make sure the HF7/HF5 distributions are repackaged with the modified XML file incorporating the workaround mentioned above. Then apply the patch. A real fix will require new enabler and/or distribution releases. This may be fixed in a future version of enabler/distributions.
