Description:

This error is thrown if:


1). One or more of the TIBCO services from TIBCO_HOME are being used by the Installer and is/are still running.
2). The Installer is using tibcojre inside TIBCO_HOME .

Issue/Introduction

"WARNING: Locked Files" error while installing Policy Director.

Resolution

All processes using TIBCO_HOME which are used by the Installer should be stopped and a JRE outside TIBCO_HOME should be specified for the Universal Installer.

./TIBCOUniversalInstaller-lnx-x86-64.bin -console -is:javahome /opt/jre/1.7

The command-line option -is:log <filename> will also display more information regarding the Installer's activities.
