Description

Resolution:
TIBCO BusinessWorks ProcessMonitor (BWPM) Server is heavily dependent on database server performance. Support recommends evaluating the overall volume and database sizing for newly installed BWPM Servers. Refer to the attached (Filename: bwpm_3.0.x_sizing_Support.xlsx) BWPM sizing sheet provided by BWPM Engineering.

Once downloaded, you can open the sheet in MS Excel.

You have to fill in information in the Number column  under Technical Information Section.

That is row number 5 to 18.

You need to fill in information in the Number column  under Other Section.

That is row number 21 to 25.

Based on the information provided in above, Total, Number, Summary and Size will be calculated.

A summary should give you general guidelines for the minimum size Oracle table space should be.

Such an evaluation before going into production can help avoid performance issues reported by a slow database server.
