Resolution:

When logging into hawkwebconsole, the error "Unable to initialize hawk webconsole" is reported and no alive agent is displayed. After clicking "OK", this issue appears again. However, if using the Hawk Display instead of hawkwebconsole, everything works fine. After checking the hawkwebconsole.log, the following error message was found:

The issue might be caused by browser incompatibility. If using a supported browser, the issue should not occur. If the issue exists when using a supported browser, it may be caused by security software on the user's machine. This is confirmed to be an issue with Sophos security software. Apparently, their "Download Scanning" feature restricts behavior that repeatedly sends updates without sending a close event, which is what the Hawk Web Console is doing.
