Issue/Introduction

How to setup a scripted-sequence to start various processing units of TIBCO API Exchange Gateway (APIX-G)?

Resolution

There is no preference to start APIX processes (i.e. Cache-Cleanup and Core Engine). Core-Engine (Caching-Core) and Cache Cleanup can simply start in the same script with any order. There is no need to introduce any delay to wait for one to start. Even if the Core Engine takes longer to complete startup, you should see some warning messages in the Cache Cleanup (nohup and logs) indicating quorum is not met. (Not enough SEEDERS in the cluster). However, as soon as the Core Engine joins the cluster, you should see a "member joined" message in the Cache-Cleanup log and everything should function normally.
