Description
Resolution:
BusinessConnect can run in a multiplatform environment (using both Windows and Unix servers). The only requirement for the Gateway Server and Interior Server is that all GS machines should run on the same type of platform (in other words, if you run the GS on Windows in the DMZ area, you should only run the GS on Windows anywhere else. Similarly, all IS machines should run on the same platform. However, you can run the GS on one type of platform (like Windows) and the IS on another platform (like Linux). It is preferable to run both GS and IS on the same type of platform (Windows or Linux).
