This video shows how to apply TIBCO Spotfire
Server hotfix on Microsoft Windows environment.
Browse to the TIBCO Spotfire Server Hotfix URL :
http://support.spotfire.com/patches_spotfireserver.asp
Now click on the Server version.
Click Download.
Save the .ZIP file
Extract the zipped file to your desired location.
Open Installation_Instructions.htm
Open Windows Services console as shown.
Locate TIBCO Spotfire Server service and stop it.
Launch windows command line with administrative
privilege.
Browse to location where the hotfix is extracted in the
command prompt.
Browse to jdk\bin folder as shown and copy the path to a notepad to construct the hotfix command as shown.
Copy and paste the command in the command prompt as shown.
The command opens the hotfix GUI tool.
Browse to the TIBCO Spotfire Server installation folder.
Click on Install.
This completes the hotfix installation.
Start the Spotfire Server Service.
The hotfix is now applied successfully.
