Resolution:
BW SOAP R/R calls a web service using the HTTPS protocol. The project uses the GV BW_GLOBAL_TRUSTED_CA_STORE for storing certificates in an external file. When executing the SOAP R/R, BW throws error, "Server certificate is invalid" at start up and the process is not initialized.
BW SOAP R/R calls a web service using the HTTPS protocol. The project uses the GV BW_GLOBAL_TRUSTED_CA_STORE for storing certificates in an external file. When executing the SOAP R/R, BW throws error, "Server certificate is invalid" at start up and the process is not initialized.
The cause is the Trusted Certificate Folder field is set to blank. If you define BW_GLOBAL_TRUSTED_CA_STORE and external certificates you still need to create an empty trusted certificate folder in Designer and refer to it in the Trusted Certificate Folder field.
