How often will the EMS server attempt to truncate the file store when file_truncate is enabled?
Resolution
For file store, when file_truncate parameter is absent, the default is "true" and the server will periodically attempt to truncate the store file. The interval is around 30 second for normal file stores. For the meta db file, the interval is 2 minutes. Truncation will stop at the first "live" record. If the file_truncate parameter is set to "false", running the "compact" command will not try to truncate the file store.
