Resolution: When processing an inbound X12 or EDIFACT message, BusinessConnect generates validation errors when generating the 997, 999, or CONTRL messages. The messages sometime looks like the following:
"Could not load standard to interpret interchange header segment"
This issue mainly occurs when a customer uploads their own 997, 999, or CONTRL acknowledgement guidelines (.sef, .std, or .map files) into the respective operation in the Operations Editor. BusinessConnect EDI Protocol automatically uses the standard 997, 999, or CONTRL guideline into the respective Operation by default. There is no need to upload guidelines (.sef or .std files) nor .map files into the BusinessConnect configuration unless you have a specific reason to override the standard guideline. Deleting the uploaded guideline files from the acknowledgement transaction generally corrects this issue.
