Description:
The IBM Java version that shipped with TRA does not work with EMS 8.2.1 on an AIX platform. Other platforms are unaffected except the AIX.
Symptoms:
The EMS 8.2.1 configured for database store file with IBM JDK that shipped with TRA will not start the EMS server and the EMS server crashes.
Cause:
The minor version of IBM 1.8 JDK that shipped with TRA is 45.
The latest verion of IBM 1.8 JDK that can be downloaded from the IBM site is 51.
The IBM Java version that shipped with TRA does not work with EMS 8.2.1 on an AIX platform. Other platforms are unaffected except the AIX.
