Steps to use external JAR files in BW 6.x . Package them as a plug-in separately from the application archive. Use the Java Invoke command to use a class from the external JAR and then deploy to runtime such that the application, and other applications in the same application space, can depend on the plug-in without explicitly adding the external JAR files in the EAR file.
