Description

After specifying the correct input file path location while executing the Automation Services job "Remap Information Services Catalogs And Schemas", the following error is thrown with a com exception: "The system cannot find the file specified."

Symptoms:
Although we specify the correct input file path, we still see an error while executing Automation Services job on a server or locally "Remap Information Services Catalogs And Schemas" with a ComponentModel Exception:

System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The system cannot find the file specified
   at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithCreateProcess(ProcessStartInfo startInfo)
   at Spotfire.Dxp.Automation.Tasks.RemapCatalogsAndSchemasTask.ExecuteCore(TaskExecutionContext context)
   at Spotfire.Dxp.Automation.Extension.Task.Execute(TaskExecutionContext context)

Cause:

Java is not installed on the Automation Services server or on the local client machine. Note that installation of Java is a prerequisite for the "Remap Information Services Catalogs And Schemas" feature to work.

Issue/Introduction

Remap Information Services Catalogs and Schemas" feature fails with error "System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The system cannot find the file specified.

Resolution

Install Java JRE on the Automation Services server if the job failed while executing on the server. Reboot of the Automation Services server may be required. The same applies while executing the job locally. Install Java JRE on the local client machine. Make sure that system environment variable "path" includes the Java installation bin directory folder (Example: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin”).
