Description:
TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks uses the bwadmin and bwagent tools to perform administrative and runtime management functions. The bwagent can be configured to use either an external database for data persistence and TIBCO Enterprise Message Service for communication (in a production environment) or TIBCO ActiveSpaces for both data persistence and communication transport (in a development or PoC environment).

The following databases are supported with bwagent in TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ 6.2.2 :

 MySQL 5.5.x
 PostgreSQL 9.2.x
 Oracle Database 12c
 MS-SQL Server 2008 R2 and 2012.

For a production environment use Database with TIBCO Enterprise Message Service. For customers who have set up an environment using TIBCO ActiveSpaces, a detailed step-by-step process to migrate has been provided as part of the updated documentation.
