Resolution:
In order to work with BW plugin for ActiveSpaces, both AS and BW should be in the same TIBCO home directory. While installing BWAS plugin, the Installer runs the dependency checker to see if AS installed in the same TIBCO_Home or not . If it is not installed, the installation will abort. After the BWAS plugin is installed, you can modify the bwengine and Designer TRA files to point to the desired AS_HOME but is not recommended.
