Description:
When processing an inbound X12 document through BusinessConnect, the engine stops.
Symptoms:
As described. The BC engine appears to process the inbound X12 request and then stops before generating the TA1 or 997. It never sends the request to the private process.
Cause:
Inconsistent behavior on underlying C libraries on Linux platform.

Issue/Introduction
BusinessConnect engine stops when generating a TA1 for an inbound X12 request.
Resolution
Foresight has released Instream 8.5 Hotfix 1 to resolve this issue. You can retrieve it from the Tibco Support download website mft.tibco.com using your eSupport username and password. The hotfix is located under /AvailableDownloads/Foresight/Instream/8.5.0/8.5.0_HF1. Instream 8.5 is supported for users with EDI 6.5 and above.
