Description:
The RosettaNet protocol will not install on top of BusinessConnect software after a BusinessConnect upgrade.
Symptoms:
When installing Rosettanet protocol, getting the following message, "INTERNAL ERROR: Failed to initialize TIBCO Rendezvous check".
Cause:
The RV parameters are not updated correctly in the vpd.properties file during a previous upgrade of the Tibco Runtime Agent  or Rendezvous. This results in errors when some of the RV dependent installers like BC RosettaNet does a dependency check on RV version from the vpd.properties registration file.

Issue/Introduction

The RosettaNet protocol will not install after upgrading BusinessConnect from version 6.1.0 to 6.2.0

Resolution

NOTE: Open a Service Request and work with a Support engineer while executing the steps below. The following is for reference only.

Make a backup of your vpd.properties file. In the vpd.properties file, verify whether you have the following blank entries.  Below are some sample blank entries that are erroneous and also some corrected entries.
