In older versions of the Tibco environment, undeployed and removed BW applications in the domain are still running on client machines in the domain.Symptoms:
BW application is already undeployed and deleted from the existing administration domain and cannot be seen in the Admin GUI. When the Hawk agent is running and the machine is connected to the domain, the removed application and bwengine still runs on the client machine.
Cause:
For an application that is running a long time in an older TIBCO environment, undeploying and removing the application may not completely clear up the registry and thus cause orphan applications to still be able to run on client machines when connected to the administration domain.
Issue/Introduction
Resolution
1).Terminate the Hawk agent on the target machine.
2).Terminate the orphan application and bwengine.
3).Remove any customized Hawk rulebase from the target machine.
4).Remove the application relevant files for the application on the machine.
