Description

During the process of setting up SSO using Kerberos on TIBCO Spotfire Advanced Data Services (ADS), you need to create a domain on Composite server(ADS/CIS). While creating a domain LDAP configuration on ADS server, you see an error: 'Service failure: ServerError: Cannot create domain "[Name]". [9905002]'

This error occurs if you did not enter the LDAP information in a correct syntax/format.

Resolution

Use the following syntax in the "Add a Domain" dialog:
  • Server URL: ldap://[servername]:[port]/dc=[company],dc=[com]
  • LDAP Login: [domain\username]
  • LDAP Password: [password]
