The EMS Linux distribution does not have a separate Installer for the 64-bit version of the EMS server.
Cause:
User cannot find the 64-bit version of the EMS server for Linux on the eDelivery site.

How to install EMS 8.1 for Linux 64-bit.
Resolution
Unlike the Windows platform, the EMS Linux distribution does not have a separate Installer for the 64-bit version of the EMS server. The Linux_x86 version includes the 64-bit EMS server as well. The EMS Installer packages TIB_ems_8.1.0_linux_x86 installs both the 32-bit and 64-bit executable. In case of EMS, tibemsd is the 32-bit executable and tibemsd64 is the 64-bit executable. The same applies for the other executables in the /bin directory.
