User configures two BC machines in same group. When the engines are started, the engines start in Load Balanced Mode instead of in Fault Tolerance Mode.
Issue/Introduction
BusinessConnect engines work in Load Balancing mode even when assigned to the same FT group.
Resolution
Make sure that the RV communication between all BC instances are working properly using the tibrvsend/tibrvlisten command. All BC engines should be on the same subnet, and they do not use RVRD. If RVRD is involved, do the following.
- Verify the RVRD configuration (XML l file) and check if the correct group names are assigned. Check the group assigned.
- Import/Export "_RVFT.>" parameters with the correct port numbers and assign the correct RV weight.
