Resolution:
Console mode installation is not supported using a response file. Response files are used only for silent mode installation. The "-options-record" command line argument is no longer supported. With the recent Universal Installer, it is not possible to either generate nor accept a response file in console mode. The "-options-record" parameter is no longer valid for those products releases using a more recent version of the Universal Installer (i.e.RV 8.4.0 ). Refer to the RV Installation document - "Universal Installer : Install TIBCO Rendezvous: Install in Silent Mode", for more details.
