Resolution:
No. One can not run two different versions of RV at the same time on the same host in Silver Fabric.
No. One can not run two different versions of RV at the same time on the same host in Silver Fabric.
Because RV is installed in a directory with 2 digits (8.4), and RV daemon must be unique per machine/conf (this is a RV requirement), we do install RV in a shared location (DSEngine/tibco/tibrv). Which causes the error:
Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /opt/tibco/fabric/DSEngine/work/tibco/tibrv/8.4/bin/rvd (Text file busy)
It is recommended that customers upgrade all the TLMs running on a specific host to use the same version of RV to avoid any issues.
