Description

Description:
When building an EAR file with studio-tools, extraneous global variables will be included in the EAR file. The global variables will be found in the TIBCO.xml file.

Symptoms:
You may see global variables which have been previously deleted or global variables which are prefixed incorrectly such as cal/defaultVars/, but the incorrect path may also vary.

Cause:
studio-tools incorrectly includes folders in the EAR build which Studio correctly excludes.

Issue/Introduction

When using TIBCO BusinessEvents (BE) studio-tools additional global variables appear in TIBCO.xml in the EAR (Enterprise Archive) file compared to when using BE Studio.

Resolution

As a work around, look for a directory call Profiles\local\defaultVars in the project. Remove the defaultVars sub directory and studio-tools will correctly build the EAR file.
