Description
This issue may be seen during the TIBCO Spotfire Web Player installation, when the installer tries to install the Performance Counters:
"Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. "
- When the Web Player installer is run, the registry settings related to the installation for Performance Counters are not properly set if the performance counters are corrupted on the Windows Operating System level.
Resolution
To resolve, fix the corrupted performance counters. Please use following references on how to rebuild performance counters on your server:
After fixing the performance counters, perform the TIBCO Spotfire Web Player installation again.
