When you try to upgrade directly to version 4.0 or 4.1 from a version 1.3.1 ActiveMatrix BPM system (following the

instructions in the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM 4.x Release Notes):

1. When you restart tibcohost after installing and applying the appropriate TIBCO ActiveMatrix Platform 3.3.0 hotfix,

the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM application enters a "Waiting for dependencies" state.

2. If you then run the "Upgrade TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM Instance" wizard to upgrade the "ActiveMatrix BPM Instance Application",

the upgrade fails to complete.

1. Upgrade the version 1.3.1 ActiveMatrix BPM system to version 2.2.0 HF002.

2. Upgrade the version 2.2.0 HF002 system to version 4.0 or 4.1.
