Issue/Introduction

How to configure a secure cluster with authentication enabled without using a token file.

Environment

Product: TIBCO ActiveSpaces Version: 2.x OS: All Supported Operating Systems --------------------

Resolution

LDAP authentication is available only with a DomainController. On startup of the DomainController a valid policy file is required. The domain requester must be started with a security_token parameter. When your cluster is configured without a token file, it is required to set the security_token parameter to "none" (the same on BW applications) and add a valid authentication user and password.

Example: as-admin connect string:
connect name "ms" discovery "tcp://127.0.0.1:50000" security_token "none" authentication_username "admin" authentication_password "<password>"
