Created an EAR file using Tibco Designer and deployed it in the Administrator. Now we want to add one more process to the current EAR file.
Issue/Introduction
How to update an existing EAR file in Tibco Admin?
Resolution
Do the following.
1). Add a new process to the archive in Tibco Designer.
2). Build the new EAR file.
3). Go to Tibco Administrator and find your application in Application Management.
4). Go to the Configuration part under your application.
5). Click on your application name on the Configuration Builder panel. It should be in first row of the panel.
6). Click on Upload EAR.
7). Then regular: Browse and OK and in Confirmation dialog: OK .
8). In the next dialog push: Save and you should be on the screen with Configuration Builder. Now your app should be marked as Deployable.
9). Push Deploy.
10). Select the following two check-boxes
- Stop running services before deployment
- Start successfully deployed services
