Resolution:
No, currently it is not possible to retry failed buildanddeploy items in worklist. When users go through the approval process like the following in Web Studio, the final step results in an error.
- Change artifact (Decision table or RuleTemplateInstance)
- Save change
- Commit the change
- Approve the worklist item corresponding to this change
- Perform BuildandDeploy to generate deployables and hot deploy if enabled
Current behavior
Even after you fix the error there is no way for users to retry the same worklist item to redo the build and deploy step to complete the workflow.
Workaround
Make another change to the artifact and go through the approval process. The previous failed change and new change both will be part of generated deployables. If the hot deployment succeeds this time then both changes will be deployed to running engines.
Resolution
We have an ER open to allow users to retry the failed build and deploy item in worklist.
