****************************

Cause:
This issue occurs as the schema which has identifier type set as 'Record Length' has some constant value defined for a field which does not match with the input file.

Issue/Introduction

TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Files for Unix/Win (FA)service fails with the error "lines couldn't be interpreted"

Environment

Product:TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Files for Unix/WinVersion: 7.0.0OS:All Supported Operating Systems--------------------

Resolution

When the identifier type is set as 'Record Length' it is not required to set the constant value. If for a field constant value is set, FA will try to match schema based on the constant.
To resolve this issue remove the value for the constant field from the schema and then test the project.

Also please refer the the tib_adfiles_configuration_and_deployment.pdf for File Adapter : Adapter Configuration Options > Defining Schemas > Positional File Record Options.

Note:This is a feature change in TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Files for Unix/Win 7.0.0 version.
