Resolution

1. Can I have an installation without having a BPM Node Type i.e. only having a Client Node Type and a Server Node Type?

Answer - Yes.

2. Should I distribute the application template from the BPM processes or should I distribute the system amx.bpm.app application between the nodes?

Answer -  No. You should not touch this as it is done for you.

3. Can I have different process templates working across different nodes? For example, Process A, working on Node A and B, and Process B working on Node C and D? How can I configure something like this?

Answer -  No

4. Can I set a the number of threads for each component on every node? (Process Manager Service, Work Manager Service and so on? 

Answer - No. Thread model varies depending on component type. Please review the Tuning Guide for more information on that.
