This Hotfix is available on Windows NT/2000/XP, AIX 4.3/5.1, Solaris 2.7/8, HP UX 11, 11i, Red Hat Linux 7.2. For issues addressed in the hotfix, see below. Please read the readme file with the hotfix for more details. This Hotfix is cumulative and contains fixes from Hotfix 1.
Defect Id : 1-10BHJ1
Fixed a defect where the default adapter classes would not get exported
when an adapter configuration containing Request-Response or
Request-Response Invocation services was exported in TIBCO Designer.
* Defect Id : 1-PP779
Added design-time and run-time support for subscription services to
subscribe to an "Exploded Batch" of messages, bunch them and pass on
to the SAP R/3 system as IDocs in one single invocation.
An "Exploded Batch" message contains a sequence of IDoc messages in
exploded format.
To enable a Subscription service to process batched exploded IDocs,
select the "Receive IDocs in Exploded Batch" checkbox in the
'Configuration' tab of the service.
* Defect Id : 1-TPSMX
Enhanced the Outbound adapter for standardizing IDoc/RFC/BAPI
Outbound message formats across ISO8859-1 and UTF8 encodings with
respect to handling blank fields and fields with trailing blanks.
The behavior can now be controlled by setting the parameter
adr3.preserveFieldBlanks from the adapter properties file.
adr3.preserveFieldBlanks=OFF (default)
strips padding blanks from individual IDoc/BAPI/RFC fields and
filters out fields that are entirely blank.
adr3.preserveFieldBlanks=ON
preserves padding blanks in individual IDoc/BAPI/RFC fields and
maintains fields containing only blanks as is.
* Defect Id : 1-P95V1
Enhanced the design-time to allow renaming of adapter services
in TIBCO Designer.
* Defect Id : 1-OTV39
Enhanced the design-time to allow saving of empty adapter services
in TIBCO Designer as part of a project or a project template.
* Defect Id : 1-U4POX
Fixed a defect in the run-time adapter where the '-version' option
that displayed the adapter version was unavailable.
* Defect Id : 1-Z73XE
Fixed a defect in the run-time adapter where certain startup errors
from the underlying TIBCO Adapter SDK library were not being traced
out.
* Defect Id : 1-VRKIP
Fixed a memory leak in the adapter publication service.
* Defect Id : 1-Y790N
Removed a restriction in the run-time adapter that allowed only a
maximum of 8 connections per connection pool. Each connection pool
can now hold a maximum of 99 connections.
* Defect Id : 1-TSR5I
Fixed a defect in the adapter subscription service where fields
succeeding an explicitly published null field in an IDoc message
would be ignored.
* Defect Id : 1-Z73WR
Fixed a defect in the adapter subscription service where an
exception was being thrown if an IDoc segment contained no data
at all (ie. node 'FIELDS' is empty).
* Defect Id : 1-673OA
Fixed a defect in the run-time adapter that caused the adapter to
terminate abnormally for RFC/BAPI schemas containing the
SAP table, MARA.
* Defect Id : 1-YE9XL
Fixed a defect in the pre-configured discovery agent(adr3Discoverer)
to provide seamless support for JMS transport.
* Defect Id : 1-9884L
Fixed a defect in the adapter palette where the "*" filter would
sometimes not retrieve the complete RFC/BAPI/IDoc list.
* Defect Id : 1-8RVI6
Fixed a defect in the adapter palette where the invocation protocol
dropdown for an outbound adapter was visible only when it was
clicked upon.
* Defect Id : 1-PR3IH
Fixed a defect in the adapter palette where fetching the list of
RFCs/BAPIs and clicking the Used? checkbox in the RFC/BAPI tab
does not select the RFC or BAPI upon the first click.
* Defect Id : 1-UMU7B
Fixed a defect in the adapter palette where an RFC/BAPI schema would
not get downloaded if the RFC/BAPI name and the Function Group name
were the same.
* Defect Id : 1-VRKJ4
Fixed a defect in the adapter palette publication service
configuration where a change to the 'Publish Mode' would not get
reflected if the 'Transport Type' is also changed.
* Defect Id : 1-VRKJF
Fixed a defect in the adapter palette, where dummy nodes would get
created in the project, during cut/copy/paste operations.
* Defect Id : 1-V9JON
Fixed a defect in the adapter palette, where re-opening a project
from a Source Control System like VSS, displayed an error message
'Error Creating Global Variables'.
* Defect Id : 1-XI0L9
Fixed a defect in the adapter palette where configuration of
different services connecting to different SAP Systems within the
same adapter instance was not allowed.
