TIBCO EMS Client for z/OS (CICS) 4.4.0 HotFix #1 is for z/OS 1.6 and above. CICS Transaction Server 1.3, 2.x and 3.x are supported.

Bug Fixes:

  Defects Id: 1-82V2YJ

    Fixed the S7MATRUE module abend with an AEIP(INVREQ) condition,
    then hanging the CICS region. The abend was caused by the
    CICS region SIT statements (USERTR and INTTR) setting which
    was off and the TRUE module not catering for this.


  Defects Id: 1-8CZAGO

    Fixed the S7MAATCH, S7M3PASS, and S7M3ADMN modules to handle
    issues with starting of the EMS CEET Server ( this is the Attach
    of the S7M3EMSS module from the CICS Region).


  Defects Id: 1-8CZB8R

    Added a parameter for S7MA to review POSIX running resources  
    in CICS to fix issues when attaching to EMS CEET.
    
    The Sub-command is : S7MA -POSIX


  Defects Id: 1-8CZBAF

    Added definition in CSD for S7MAATCH to fixed the issue in  
    starting the EMS CEET Server.


  Defects Id: 1-8CZBCP

    Fixed the S7MAATCH to determine if CICS is running in Storage
    Protect mode or not. The abend was caused by the application
    programs running in EXECKEY USER when accessing messages.


  Defects Id: 1-8CZBE0

    Removal of CICS trace enters in S7MATRUE which were would cause
    Abends if CICS did not have internal tracing on.


  Defects Id: 1-8CZBG4

    Changed to S7M3CLUP definition of CEDF=NO in CSD to fixed issues
    for user application that using BMS map.

Installation:
  
  Hotfix #1 is a Complete Replacement Package.
  By default, the TIBCO EMS Client for z/OS (CICS) software is delivered
  as a non SMP/E stand-alone, base function package. Subsequent
  modifications and updates are version and product dependent.
  Therefore, a complete product replacement is preformed with the
  installation.

  Unzip the TIB_ems_4.4.0_cics_hotfix_#1.xmit.zip file.

  Please follow the installation procedures described in Chapter 2 of
  TIBCO EMS Client for z/OS (CICS) Installation and Reference.
