Closed Issues in 5.0.0_hotfix04 (This Release)

CR 1-8YLQJZ
The ROUND Shareable Tool on Open Systems gives a RANGERROR exception for some values when it should return a value. This has been fixed.

CR 1-9D9DV4
On Solaris the error "Variable &lttable>.&ltfield> too small to hold expression value" occurs when assigning 0 to a field with attributes:
packed, length 1, decimal 1. This has been fixed.

CR 1-9PO22Q
There are difference in behaviour of External Syntaxes M and N between z/OS and Open Systems. This has been fixed.

CR 1-9WSKIT
If the parameter of an SLK table references a field of a native table in which there are trailing spaces, the ODBC Gateway does not detect the presence of the rows matching the parameter value. This has been fixed.

CR 1-9XR1E8
INSERT to an SLK table can result in a row not being added to the target Oracle table and no error is reported. This has been fixed.

CR 1-9Y9984
The Execution Environment (EE) may terminate abnormally when using fields of syntax M. This has been fixed.

CR 1-9ZT955
On Solaris assignment of 0 to a field of syntax M or N fails. This has been fixed.

Resolution

Download Hotfix 4 for TIBCO(R) Object Service Broker for Open Systems 5.0.0 and apply to your system. Follow the instructions in the README supplied as part of the HotFix package.

Note that hotfixes are cumulative and contain maintenance issued up to this particular hotfix. Consult the README for additional information regarding previous maintenance included in Hotfix 4 and instructions on applying and removing this maintenance.

Obtaining the Hotfix

To download Hotfix 4, go to ftp://support-ftp.tibco.com using the browser or FTP client of your choice. You will be prompted for your userid and password, the same as required to open a Service Request.  

  Select available_downloads
  Select Mainframe
  Select OSB
  Select 5.0.0

You should then be able to see and download the fix and the associated md5 checksum files:
