TIBCO Adapter for Database 5.3.0 Hotfix 06 is released for all the platforms supported by TIBCO Adapter for Database 5.3.0.  Please refer to the product readme for details regarding the supported platforms.

Database server performance decreased if lots of cursors were kept in the

DB2 database, because the publication service did not commit after

executing each select or fetch operation in the publication table.  

This defect has been fixed.

Additional instructions to use the fix for 1-9CQ3DY

Set the new property --adb.DB2Commit-- to "on" or "off" in the .tra file.



For example,

adb.DB2Commit = on



The publication service will commit after executing each select or

fetch operation in the publication table. The default value was off.

Installation Instructions:

Microsoft Windows

1. Shut down all running TIBCO applications.
2. Unzip the hotfix ZIP file to the directory
    {TIBCO_HOME}\adapter\adadb\5.3\
3. Restart your TIBCO applications.

Unix

1. Shut down all running TIBCO applications.
2. Unzip the hotfix ZIP file to the directory
    {TIBCO_HOME}/adapter/adadb/5.3/
3. Restart your TIBCO applications.
