Closed Issues in 3.1.0_hotfix01 (this hotfix)

BWDC-205
If you supply an empty file or byte array as input to the Parse Copybook Data activity, the activity completes normally and the Plug-in no longer throws an error. The output contains zero in the noOfRecords element and a copybook element is not present.

BWDC-206
Noticeable performance improvements have been implemented for the parsing and rendering activities. The improvements have been ongoing since version 3.0.0 and the final updates are included with this hotfix.

BWDC-210
In Designer, you can now select the copybook resource that was created with TIBCO BusinessWorks COBOL Copybook Plug-in 2.2.0 or earlier versions and that contains a copybook with the REDEFINES COBOL clause.  No errors occur.

BWDC-217
An optional base64Binary input element "recordDelimiter" has been added to the input of activities.  You can now specify an arbitrary record delimiter with that input element, in which case it overrides the Record Delimiter setting of the activity.

Note: The Parse Copybook Data activity does not validate the input data against the recordDelimiter value, but simply skips the number of bytes specified.

Obtaining the Hotfix

To download Hotfix 01, go to ftp://support-ftp.tibco.com using the browser or FTP client of your choice. You will be prompted for your userid and password, the same as required to open a Service Request.

                  Select 3.1.0

You should then be able to see and download the files appropriate for your platform.
