Hotfixes are cumulative. This hotfix includes all previous hotfixes for TIBCO Object Service Broker for z/OS 5.2.0. We recommend that you apply all hotfixes up to and including hotfix 08.

OSBZ-1388
Assign a version number to external definitions at define time so the respective gateway can easily detect if a cTable requires re-accomodation
in cTable cache.

SGFZ-70
CA Datacom's string comparison semantics are different from OSB's (and everybody else's): only the length of the shorter of the two strings is taken into account (so the trailing part of the longer one is effectively ignored).

SGFZ-74
Resolve problem resulting in one extra row read at the buffer boundary while doing FORALLA/FORALLB that could potentially cause a S0C4 to occur.            

SGFZ-76
Fix a bug that causes corruption in DAT cTable when external field names are NULL.

If a DAT table has many fields it fails at save time with message "maximum number of updates pending".

Fix one more disparity related to the z/OS implementation of dynamic serverparms.

Resolution
==========
Download hotfix 08 for TIBCO(R) Object Service Broker for z/OS 5.2.0 and apply to your system. Follow the instructions in the README supplied as part of the Hotfix package.

Note that hotfixes are cumulative and contain maintenance issued up to this particular hotfix. Consult the README for additional information regarding instructions on applying and removing this maintenance.

If necessary, please open a service request with TIBCO Support for assistance installing this hotfix.


Obtaining the Hotfix
====================

To download hotfix 08, go to ftp://support-ftp.tibco.com using the browser or FTP client of your choice. You will be prompted for your userid and password, the same as required to open a Service Request.
