TIBCO BusinessConnect ebXML Protocol hotfix 6 has been released.

You can download this Hot Fix from the TIBCO Product Support FTP server using your eSupport username and password, at

           ftp://support-ftp.tibco.com

Once you have successfully logged into the server, you will find the hotfix packages under

           available_downloads/ActiveExchange/ebXML/5.0.0/hotfix-06/

When the option "always" was chosen for "Eliminate Duplicate Message" in a
transaction action, the element "DuplicateElimination" was included not only
in the outbound business messages, but also in outbound the acknowledgements;
the Duplicate Elimination configuration consistency check was also conducted
for the inbound acknowledgements if this option was chosen. This caused
communication problems with ebXML systems from some other vendors.

Enhancement is included in this hotfix to provide the flexibility so that
this option doesn't take effect for acknowledgements. Two Boolean system
properties are provided to make it work:

ebxml.ib.ack.dupElim.waived
   - when checked, the system will not perform the Duplicate Elimination
     configuration consistency check for inbound acknowledgements;

ebxml.ob.ack.dupElim.waived
   - when checked, the system will not put the "DuplicateElimination" element
     in outbound acknowledgements;

To add these two system properties:

   1. In TIBCO Administrator, choose BusinessConnect > System Settings >
      Installed Protocols> ebXML > Add,
   2. Input "ebxml.ib.ack.dupElim.waived" (or "ebxml.ob.ack.dupElim.waived")
      for "Property Name", choose "boolean" for "Property Type", and then
      click "Save",
   3. Check the checkbox labeled as "ebxml.ib.ack.dupElim.waived"
      (or "ebxml.ob.ack.dupElim.waived"),
   4. Click "Save" and then click "Done".

If these two properties are not configured, the default value will be "false";
the system will behave the same as without this hotfix;

Once these two properties are configured, they will take effect for all
engines.
