TIBCO BusinessConnect ebXML Protocol hotfix 7 has been released.

You can download this Hot Fix from the TIBCO Product Support FTP server using your eSupport username and password, at

           ftp://support-ftp.tibco.com

Once you have successfully logged into the server, you will find the hotfix packages under

           available_downloads/ActiveExchange/ebXML/5.0.0/hotfix-07/

Closed Issues in 5.0.0_HF-007 (This Release)

When the "type" attribute of the "Service" element in inbound message doesn't
match what is configured in local operation definition, which is the "Service
Type" in "Service Information" tab, the message is considered as a not
recognized service message and will be rejected.

This issue has been fixed by introducing a system property:

    ebxml.ib.servicetype.check.relaxed

The purpose of this property is to relax the checking of the "type"
attribute of the "Service" element in inbound messages, either a request
or a response. When it is checked (set to "true"), no checking will be
conducted to the "type" attribute against the one in local operation
definition. The default value of this property is "false".

Furthermore, the "type" attribute of the inbound message takes precedence in
the message published to proviate process.

Here are the steps to add this system property:

In TIBCO Administrator, choose BusinessConnect > System Settings >
Installed Protocols > ebXML > Add

    - Input "ebxml.ib.servicetype.check.relaxed" for "Property Name",
      choose "boolean" for "Property Type", and click "Save";
    - Check the checkbox labeled as "ebxml.ib.servicetype.check.relaxed",
      click "Save" and click "Done"

If this property is not configured, the default value would be "false"; the
system behaves the same as without this fix.

Once this property is configured, it will take effect for all engines.

When using "Receive Request/Notification" BusinessConnect activity in BusinessWorks process to receive private process messages from
BusinessConnect server via JMS transport, one of the attachments will
be missing if the message contains multiple attachments (which originally
come from the inbound ebXML message).

This defect has been fixed.
