Closed Issues in 6.1.0_hotfix01 (This Release)

Admin Interface

GS-11622

On the Task Admin page, if you performed a sort, then selected 'Search for
Engine' on an assigned or completed task, the search would fail with an error
page.

C++ Specific

GS-11620

On stlport-cc platforms, all methods in the Admin API that return a
'vector&ltstring>' type returned empty strings instead of the data.

Engine Daemon-Windows

GS-11601

When the number of instances on a Windows Daemon was changed from default to a
number via the Daemon Admin page or the Engine Configuration page, when
restarted the Daemon would only launch one Engine.

GS-11608

A one CPU windows engine did not respect the "Core Relative Engine Instances"
setting when SMP was enabled.

GUI

GS-11603

If Windows Authentication was selected without having deployed the additional
third party library, an error screen was displayed indicating the issue but the
error message was truncated.

GS-11617

The Broker Monitor was not available on Standalone Brokers because the dashboard
nav was not visible. It has been restored.

Scheduler

GS-11632

When a Task reservation expired, the pending Task count used by the Engine
balancer did not get updated, resulting in such problems as idle Engines not
being shared to work on such Tasks.To revert this behavior, disable this fix in
the Hotfix section of the Manager Configuration.

Upgrade and Migration

GS-11587

If a Windows Engine Daemon was migrated from a 6.1 grid to a 5.1 grid, that
Daemon was unable to launch Engines if the 5.1 Windows JRE version was 1.5 (the
default.)

GS-11596

Configuring the Engine Daemons to upgrade themselves from the Director did not
work. Note that the default and recommened configuration is to upgrade from the
Brokers.

GS-11597

The reporting database upgrade scripts did not create all of the new columns
that were added in 6.1.0.

GS-11605

If a Standalone Broker was initially installed as a Director, and then
configured to use a reporting database that is no longer supported in 6.1, the
installer will prevent upgrading to 6.1.

GS-11645

Migrating a Daemon from a 6.1 Grid to a Grid at 6.0.2 hotfix 6 resulted in that
Daemon being unable to launch Engines.

Web Services

GS-11671

The ServiceAdmin.getAllServiceInfo and getServiceInfo SOAP web service calls
fail after causing the Manager to run out of memory.

GridServer 6.1.0 Hotfix 1 is now available
