User Interface – The table that was not created through the GUI was not available for the UI based search and would result in an exception. The 'Server Management' screen available from the lower right menu contains a synchronize button which allows to pull the table definitions from the server. After synchronization, the user can search all the server tables. Be aware that the existing local table definitions (possibly from another patterns server) might get erased. Only a user with administrative privileges can perform a synchronization operation.
This hotfix provides a fix for the issue in which users cannot execute search queries against the tables that are created using an external application (outside of the TIBCO Patterns GUI application). To use this feature, you need to manually synchronize the tables using a feature which will be added to the Server Management dialog in the GUI.
After the successful installation of this hotfix, login to the Patterns GUI application using the Administrator account. On the dashboard page, click "Server Management" under the Settings tab. The Server Management screen displays a "Synchronize Tables" panel. Clicking "Synchronize Tables" synchronizes all your tables with Patterns Engine.
NOTE: Synchronizing the tables loads all the tables from the Patterns Engine. This can overwrite the metadata (table column display names, order and so on on the GUI) of the tables that were already created using the GUI.
