You can download this HotFix from the TIBCO Product Support ftp server, support-ftp.tibco.com.  You will need to provide your eSupport username and password to access the server.  Once you have successfully logged into the server, go to /available_downloads/ActiveEnterprise/TIBCORuntimeAgent/5.6.2/hotfix-012/ to download the fix.

Hotfixes are cumulative. This hotfix includes all previous generally available
hotfixes for TIBCORuntime Agent 5.6.2.

Installation


All Platforms:

1. Shut down all TIBCO applications.

2. Back up the contents in the {TIBCO_HOME}\tra\5.6\hotfix\directory.

3. Back up the CreateDomain.xml and ModifyLDAPConfiguration.xml files in the
TIBCO_HOME\tra\5.6\template\domainutility\cmdline directory.

4. Back up the {TIBCO_HOME}\tra\5.6\lib\palettes\ad_palette.jar file outside
{TIBCO_HOME}\tra\5.6\lib\palettes\ directory, ensuring that duplicate versions
of the jar file do not exist in the classpath.

5. Back up
{TIBCO_HOME}\tpcl\5.6\tomcat\5.5 as {TIBCO_HOME}\tpcl\5.6\tomcat\tomcat.5.5.27.

6. Unzip the hotfix ZIP file to the folder {TIBCO_HOME}.

7. Copy the {TIBCO_HOME}\tra\5.6\hotfix\lib\palettes\ad_palette.jar file to the
{TIBCO_HOME}\tra\5.6\lib\palettes directory.

8. Copy the libtibems.lib (Windows), libtibems.so(32-bit UNIX), or
libtibems64.so(64-bit UNIX) file from the
{TIBCO_HOME}\tra\5.6\hotfix\lib\ems513client\&ltPlatform>
directory to the {TIBCO_HOME}\tra\5.6\hotfix\lib directory.

9. (UNIX Only) Copy the libmaverick53.so(32-bit UNIX) or
libmaverick5364.so(64-bit UNIX)
file from the {TIBCO_HOME}/tra/5.6/hotfix/lib/sdklibs/&ltPlatform>
directory to the {TIBCO_HOME}/tra/5.6/hotfix/lib directory.

10. Restart the TIBCO applications.

Uninstallation

To remove a hotfix, you must delete the contents of the hotfix
directory and restore any files changed per the hotfix readme
instructions. This returns your software to its original condition.

To reinstall a previous hotfix version, follow the instructions
published in the hotfix readme file that is part of the hotfix
package.

All Platforms:

1. Shut down all TIBCO applications running on the target system.

2. Remove the contents of the {TIBCO_HOME}\tra\5.6\hotfix directory.

3. Make sure the backed up directory {TIBCO_HOME}\tpcl\5.6\tomcat\tomcat.5.5.27
exists.

4. Remove {TIBCO_HOME}\tpcl\5.6\tomcat\5.5 directory.

5. Rename {TIBCO_HOME}\tpcl\5.6\tomcat\tomcat.5.5.27 as
{TIBCO_HOME}\tpcl\5.6\tomcat\5.5.

6. Restore any files changed per instructions with the backup copy you made
during installation.

7. Restart the TIBCO applications.

TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.6.2 did not support Microsoft Active Directory Application Mode.

The Microsoft Active Directory Application Mode item has been added to the
Vendor (Provides Defaults) drop-down list in the Corporate LDAP For Users And Groups
dialog when you select to retrieve user and group information from a corporate LDAP
in TIBCO Domain Utility.
