We are pleased to notify you of the latest update to the TIBCO Foresight CCI Code Tables.  This update contains Version 21.1 of 

the CMS CCI tables, and is effective from April 1, 2015 through June 30, 2015.  The TIBCO Foresight CCI Code Tables are used 

for validation of Healthcare transactions only. These tables do not affect Non-Healthcare or Global Markets customers.

ATTENTION:This Code Table file is valid for Instream and HIPAA Validator Desktop versions 7.3.0 and newer. If your Instream / 

Desktop software is older than version 7.3.0, DO NOT INSTALL THIS UPDATE. You will need to upgrade your validation software 

before installing this code table file. These updates will also be included in the next Instream / Desktop release.

Downloading Updates

Updates can be downloaded from the TIBCO Product Support file transfer server, mft.tibco.com, using your username and password for the 

TIBCO Support Web.  You can use FTP, SFTP (FTP or SFTP use requires an FTP/SFTP client or command-line FTP), or your web 

browser at https://mft.tibco.com (requires JAVA applet support in your browser). Once on the MFT site, downloads can be

Important Note:  Make plans now to update your Instream / Desktop software to version 7.3.0 or newer.  As of March 31, 2009, Foresight

will no longer make code tables and guidelines backward compatible to work with software earlier than Version 7.3.0. If your

Instream / Desktop software is older than version 7.3.0,  DO NOT INSTALL THIS UPDATE.  

You will need to upgrade your validation software before installing this code table file.

When needed, Foresight makes CCI table updates available between new versions of Instream and Desktop. 

Important: You can import CCI tables into Instream and Desktop but not EDISIM

Foresight may need to change the CCI table database format in the future. At that point, you will need to upgrade

This installation updates code tables

This CCI table update contains all valid CCI codes to date. You do not have to run any previous CCI table updates before

running this one.

2. WHEN TO INSTALL

============================================================

There are two conditions when you can update the CCI table:

- Install an Instream or Desktop release. 

   The latest CCI tables are automatically included in the Instream and Desktop releases. This is the primary

   method for getting the latest CCI tables.

   For details about the changes, see Readme.txt for that release.

-  When not installing an Instream or Desktop release:

   The CCI table updates are posted separately on the website for inclusion into earlier releases.  These postings are

created when CMS issues quarterly updates, or errata correcting one of their quarterly releases.

   Refer to the installation instructions in section 3 below.

3. INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS if current version is 7.3 or later

Windows installation:

1.  Back up the current table files FS_CCI.dat, FS_OCCI.dat, and FS_CCIAOC.dat (Instream/Desktop 8.2.1 or later).

    These files can be found in your Desktop or Instream bin directory.

2.  Unzip FS_CCI_8.4.0.4.zip into a separate directory.

3.  Copy the FS_CCI.dat, FS_OCCI.dat, and FS_CCIAOC.dat files     into the Desktop or Instream Bin directory.

Unix installation:

1.  Back up the current table files fs_cci.dat, fs_occi.dat, and fs_cciaoc.dat (Instream/Desktop 8.2.1 or later).

    These files can be found in your Desktop or Instream bin directory.

2.  Unpack HVInStreamCCI_8.4.0.4.tar.gz into your Desktop/Instream bin directory:

    #gunzip HVInStreamCCI_8.4.0.4.tar.gz 

    #tar -xvf HVInStreamCCI_8.4.0.4.tar
