Hotfixes are cumulative. This hotfix includes the issues listed in the Closed
Issues section.

A TIB_AMXBPM_3.1.0-HF1_Addendum_CaseManagement.zip file is supplied as
part of this Hotfix distribution.

Extract TIB_AMXBPM_3.1.0-HF1_Addendum_CaseManagement.zip to a temporary
directory. The .zip file contains:

- TIBCO ActiveMatrix® BPM Hotfix Addendum. This addendum provides updated
  documentation for changes and fixes that have been implemented in TIBCO
  ActiveMatrix BPM 3.1 Hotfix 001.

- TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM 3.1 Hotfix 001 compatible versions of the BPM public
  web service API (in the public_api folder).

Closed issues in 3.1.0_HF-002 (This Release)

WRM-8121
The document activity extension was not included in the ProcessManager node type.
This could lead to deployment or runtime errors when process projects containing
document activities were deployed to systems containing ProcessManager node types.

WRM-8112
The reference counts for RQL statements are held in a BPM database table. Each
count is spread over several rows of the table. This should allow several
threads to update separate rows, each referencing the same RQL statement.
However, the DAO used to perform the update is synchronized causing threads to
be blocked. This means that only one thread at a time can access the DAO.

WRM-8098
If you add a new business object model, with a namespace that does not follow
the same order as previously deployed namespaces, to a new version of a global
data project, it causes error messages when upgrading the application.

WRM-8042
If you try to invoke a dynamic sub-process in a different project from the main
pageflow project and there are no user tasks in the main pageflow project after
the call-subprocess task, this causes an exception.

WRM-7998
During upgrade, ActiveMatrix BPM migrates from ECPublicationJMS.properties to
ec-event-rules.xml for JMS configuration. During migration, ActiveMatrix BPM
accesses the includeSeverity property. However, if the includeSeverity property
has no value, an invalid ec-event-rules.xml is created which causes a 900
trigger rules error.

WRM-7956
When upgrading TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM, the upgrade fails if the ActiveMatrix
BPM configuration folder is mounted on Windows as Z:\

WRM-7926
The Schema version for the ActiveMatrix BPM Oracle database scripts is
hard-coded to 1.8.0; when it should use substitution markers. This causes an
error during upgrade.

WRM-7912
Log Viewer sometimes gets a NullPointerException when loading a file using the
"Open File" dialog, rather than drag/dropping files on to it (or using command
line load).

WRM-7895
When an Resource Query Language (RQL) expression is re-evaluated along with
other registered RQL expressions, the processing of one may affect the results
of subsequent expressions; leading to incorrect result sets.

WRM-7891
Enable the pageflow engine to perform deferred deployment when the process
requires extension tasks that are not registered.

WRM-7779
Running JVMInfo leaves threads running in BPM JVM. This can result in large
numbers of threads running which can affect performance.

PVM-662
Allow the purgeTerminatedProcessInstances API to accept a FAILED status. This
allows you to use the purgeTerminatedProcessInstances API to delete either
failed or faulted process instances by passing the status as either FAULTED
or FAILED.
 
PVM-659
The QueryProcessInstance API does not return custom data for completed and
truncated process instances if they are marked for deferred purge.

BX-3632
The queryProcessInstance API returns improper XML when a process attribute
value contains a XML entity.

BX-3585
If there are system exceptions at the root task of a process, the process
should move to HALTED instead of FAILED.

BX-3584
Currently, the system property autoDeleteFailedProcesses is set to "yes" which
means that a failed process instance is automatically deleted. This system
property should be set to "no" so that a failed process instance is
not automatically deleted unless you configure the autoDeleteFailedProcesses
system property to yes (com.tibco.bx.autoDeleteFailedProcesses="yes").

BX-3571
If there is a fault in an event task, the process should move to a HALTED state
rather than a FAILED state. This allows any errors to be corrected so that the
process can complete successfully.

BX-3568
When restarting an ActiveMatrix BPM node, any ActiveMatrix BPM applications with
Page Flows that contain Java tasks can cause process instances to go into a
halted state. This is because the ActiveMatrix BPM components start in the wrong
order. In other words, the BPM components start after the Pageflow, causing the
Pageflow Java task to not execute correctly.
