Closed Issues in 1.4.0 HF001 (This Release)

SFBP-337

When replicating an SFBP 1.4.0 BPM server component running in AMX Administrator only mode,

the secondary AMX Administrator instance could not connect to the primary instance during

installation.

SFBP-348

Upgrading BPM System running in multi-tenancy mode results in failure.

Note: For the upgrade to work, the two BPM Server components should be running with

“AMX Administrator Only” and “BPM Server Only” modes respectively. In addition the BPM Server

components and BPM Runtime components must share the same "Fault Tolerance Directory".

Once the components are updated with desired BPM distribution version, they should be

restarted in following order:

- Secondary/Replicated AMX Administrator instance

- Primary AMX Administrator instance

- BPM Server component

- BPM Runtime component(s)

- Primary AMX Administrator instance

- Secondary/Replicated AMX Administrator instance

SFBP-356 (customer reported 716074)

When installing a BPM 4 environment business services failed to start due a 404 error.

Runtime variables were added to control the value for the file located in the BPM system at

the path <CONFIGHOME>/bpm/${bpm_app_name}/configuration/wpextender.properties or

<FT_DIRECTORY>/bpm/${bpm_app_name}/configuration/wpextender.properties for distributed system.

To set value of the UseHttpRequestContextURL inside the wpextends.properties add the

BPM_USE_CONTEXT_URL variable and its desired value.

To set the value of the formContextURL add the OVERRIDE_VR_URL variable and set the value to "true"

and add CUSTOM_VR_URL variable to indicate the desired host.

The formContextURL will take the form of BPM_USE_CONTEXT_URL/${admin_enterprise_name /${bpm_app_name}/bpmresources

SFBP-371

For existing BPM components the REST Binding Type extensions could not be installed.

SFBP-372

When upgrading from an existing BPM 2.2 system to BPM 4.1 version a failure occurred when the upgrading

scripts were executed.

NOTE: This HF is required for upgrading existing BPM systems to the BPM 4.1 version.
